Where: The Hillside Gym in the Town Hall Building at 221 Main Street, Boylston MA - if your GPS is sending you to the Town Center where the gazebo is located (which has oddly happened to some players) that is wrong. If that's the case, use 215 Main Street to get you to the Hillside Complex. There are multiple buildings at the top of the hill, but the Town Hall Building is clearly signed.

Times vary based on gym availability. For a complete schedule go to: playtimescheduler.com. Choose Massachusetts, Central Worcester County, Boylston.

On playtimescheduler.com you will be able to register for a session based on your skill level, be it Novice (must know most of the rules but working on the skills), Intermediate (competitive play), Advanced (tournament players), or choose a Novice Introductory session for people who have never played Pickleball.

PLEASE NOTE:


The Parks & Recreation Office is located at 215 Main Street BEHIND the POLICE STATION and the BOYLSTON-BERLIN SCHOOL DEPARTMENT.  There is NO ACCESS to our office from the front of the building (Police Department or School Department). If you can see the Police Department or School Department, You just need to WALK OR DRIVE TO THE BACK OF THE BUILDING. There is a bright blue bench outside our office and a large, round, colorful sign that says 'Boylstonparks.org' between the door and window. THIS is where our office is located. 

The gym is located at 221 Main Street, which is also home to Boylston Town Hall. Enter through the upper door that has the Regional Police Academy sign - the gym will be right on your left.


For play in the Hillside Gym, players must have either a day pass or a multi-session punchcard.
Players can purchase single sessions for $6.00 or Punchcards for 10 sessions for either $60.00 or $30.00 depending on residency. Punchcards can be ordered here on Boylstonparks.org and paid for on-line or in the Parks and Recreation Office. Players should go to the 'REGISTER' tab and choose 'STORE' from the drop-down menu. On the product page in the store, the player should choose the product that matches both residency and preferred payment method. All Punchcards must be picked up in the Parks and Recreation Office during regular business hours (ID required). Cash at the door is no longer accepted. Please note, we cannot run credit cards in the office. Payment via check is preferred, but exact cash is also accepted.

Once you have your day pass or punchcard, you MUST reserve time in a session at the appropriate level of play at Playtimescheduler.com to play. Upon arrival, sign the play log outside the gym and punch your card.

Some rules and information for Hillside Gym Pickleball play:

*Paddles and balls are available for use

*Cost averages $3 to $6 per person/per session depending on residency using a 10 session punch card. Single sessions are $6  (typically 2 hours)

*Wear sneakers or court shoes (please plan to change out of street shoes, especially when the weather is wet, or there is a lot of sand and salt outside)

*You must sign the attendance sheet (log), fill in a waiver on the table outside the gym, and punch your card.

Pickleball is a paddleball sport (similar to a racquet sport) that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, similar to a Wiffle Ball, over a net.
