We have partnered with Central Rock Gym in Worcester to offer rock climbing for kids ages 8-13. This program is geared towards all climbing levels. Instructors will provide a fun-filled week of fitness and learning - both on and off the wall.        

Program Description:

Central Rock Gym Worcester is excited to offer themed week-long programming during summer break for kids ages 8 to 13. Your child will develop basic climbing skills, techniques, and kinesthetic training, through bouldering, top rope climbing, belaying, obstacle course challenges, team building games, and so much more. We believe climbing and movement training are great activities for your child to meet new friends, strengthen their self-confidence, and further advance their climbing and movement skills. This program has full and half-day availability.

Days: Monday Through Friday

  • June 17th – June 21st: Sports Week


  • June 24th – June 28th: Board Games Week


  • July 8th –  July 12th: S.T.E.A.M Week


  • July 15th – July 19th:  Circus Week


  • July 22nd – July 26th: Survivor Week


  • July 29th – August 2nd: Survivor Week


  • August 5th – August 9th: Beach Week


  • August 12th – August 16th: Ninja Warrior Week


  • August 19th – August 23rd: Olympics Week


  • August 26th – August 30th: Sports Week




Time: 




  • 9 am - 2 pm Full Day


  • 9 am - 12 pm Half Day




Cost: 




  • Full-Day: $450 for 1st child / $400 per additional sibling


  • Half-Day: $325 for 1st child / $275 per additional sibling 





*For the sibling discount, please call the Parks & Recreation office and we can adjust your total due.

*The Boylston Recreation Department will receive a percentage of each tuition paid.       
Other:




  • All gear needed for participation in this program is included.


  • This program is a drop-off program. Parents do not need to stay.


  • Water, snacks, and lunch ( lunch is for full day participants only) should be provided by parents. This is a nut free program. 


  • Bring a sweatshirt or warmer layers.


  • Central Rock Gym welcomes children of all abilities and skill levels! In order to ensure a fun and successful week for your child, please inform the program staff of special needs for your child which may include severe allergies, disabilities, behavioral issues, health conditions or pre-existing injuries. The more we know about your child, the better we can help them enjoy their week at Central Rock Gym!




As will all programming, Boylston recreation reserves the right to cancel any program for any reason, generally due to low enrollment. Refunds are only initiated in the event Boylston Parks & Recreation cancels programming.

Required forms:
All participants in this program must have a waiver completed by a parent or legal guardian, a CRG orientation form completed, and an Auto Belay orientation form completed. Orientations will take place on the first day of the programs. All documents should be completed on our website in advance to help streamline the check-in process. 

Due to state compliance we also require a copy of your child’s most recent physical, immunizations records, and a completed copy of our health history form. These can be emailed to ericaf@centralrockgym.com or mailed to Central rock Gym Worcester, ATTN: Camp, 299 Barber Ave, Worcester, MA 01606.
