Adorable Dog Going For A Swim
The Boylston Parks & Recreation Department in partnership with the Boylston Town Clerks' Office and The Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts are pleased to offer a free rabies clinic for dogs and cats to area residents on March 23th from 9am-12pm at the Boylston Town House (599 Main Street, Boylston, MA). Please read all of the information below before registering:

Registration is required and closes on March 12th so that we can give Tufts information about participating animals. NO walk-ins will be accepted. For the first week of the registration period, only Boylston residents will be able to register. After the first week, we will open it to more appointments per household and to all area residents. No late registrations will be accepted.

The Town Clerk's Office will be present to issue dog licenses after vaccination. Dog licenses are $15 for neutered/spayed dogs and $20 for intact dogs. If you wish to obtain your dog license(s), please bring exact cash or a check. More information can be found here:Boylston Town Clerk Dog License Information

Veterinarians and veterinary students from the Cummings School at Tufts will be volunteering, donating their time and expertise to administer the rabies/distemper shots. These appointments are not meant to take the place of your regular veterinary appointment, as it will not include a physical. Please join us in thanking them for this very important community service!

* This clinic is by APPOINTMENT ONLY - no exceptions. No walk-ins will be taken.
* Appointments will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
* Boylston residents will be given priority for the first week of open registration.
* After the first week of registration, the clinic will open to area residents.
* Each animal needs their own 1/2 hour appointment
* If you are bringing more than one animal, the appointments must be consecutive,      NOT concurrent. This is so you can be with and give your full attention to your animal being tended to and answer any questions that may arise.
*Initially, we are limiting to TWO appointments per household. We may be able to allow more appointments once based on demand once registration is open for a bit. *If you have a compelling reason why you need more than two appointments, please call the P&R office to discuss.
*Please bring proof of your last vaccination (certificate - no appointment reminder). If you are unable to provide proof, a one year, not a three year vaccine will be given.

* If you determine you are are unable to attend your appointment, please cancel so that we may fill the appointment with someone that may be waiting for an opening.

By taking part in this clinic, you agree to the terms of the Town of Boylston's Liability Waiver and Indemnity Agreement and the Vaccination Consent Form provided by Cummings Veterinary School at Tufts. You also agree to give the Boylston Parks & Recreation Department permission to share your information with representatives from the Cummings/Tufts School including, but may not be limited to: your name, address, phone number, email address, and your animals' name(s), species, breed(s), color(s), date(s) of birth, sex (male, female, neutered male, spayed female), any information regarding your animals behavior, and vaccination status. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not register.

The Parks & Recreation department may take pictures to promote our work. We have included that information in registration.

And the doctors and veterinary students may ask to share pictures of the event to promote their work. They will speak with you individually.

We will be able to accept four dogs and two cats every 1/2 hour. At 10:30am, we will be able to take five dogs and two cats per 1/2 hour.

Register below by choosing either cat or dog clinic and then time you wish to attend. Please complete all information requested.
