What is Boating Camp?

Regatta Point Community Sailing welcomes you to our exhilarating Boating Summer Camp, where adventure awaits for kids aged 7-12! Our programs, meticulously crafted for children of diverse ages, learning styles and skill levels, promise a thrilling and secure learning journey. Hurry, slots are filling fast! Our Boating Camp is not just a program, it's a transformative experience. We often hear parents amazed at how eagerly their children go to bed early, only to wake up excited for another day of sailing adventures. This enthusiasm is the driving force behind our passionate staff, dedicated to enriching every child's experience.

What Will Your Child Learn?

From mastering the basics of boating- including boat anatomy, rigging, understanding wind dynamics, and crucial water safety - to engaging in fun-filled activities like paddling, your child's week will be packed with learning and laughter. Our camp offers 9 one-week sessions, perfectly tailored for kids who can confidently swim 75 yards and
tread water for 3 minutes. And guess what? Many of our campers love it so much, they return for multiple weeks!

Friends & Family Fridays: Your camper will take Friends and Family boating 2:30 – 4 PM and demonstrate just what they learned.

Small Groups, Big Learning
In our intimate groups (10 students per instructor), your child will not only learn boating but also imbibe lessons in responsibility, teamwork, and the practical use of science and math. Boating isn’t just a sport; it’s a journey in personal growth and lifelong learning. Here, kids set and chase their own goals, fostering independence and confidence both
on and off the water.

Monday - Friday 9 - 4pm, extended day available (early drop-off and late-pick up available for $75.00 if needed)

Week 6 - July 21, 2025 to July 25, 2025
Week 7 - July 28, 2025 to August 1, 2025
Week 8 - August 4, 2025 to August 8, 2025

A Day at Our Camp:
Early Drop Off & Late Pickup are available
8:50 – Drop off begins
9:15 – On land instruction and games; on water activities and lessons
10:30 – practice and self guided testing
12:00 – Lunch/ Half day campers picked up
1:00 – On land instruction and games; on water activities and lessons
3:30 – Clean up
4:00 – Headed home!

Special Fridays: Your camper will take Friends and Family sailing 2:30 – 4 PM and demonstrate just what they learned.
