Open House and BIOBLITZ at Stillwater Farm Interpretive Center

Strillwater Farms Interpretive Center - 228 Redemption Rock Rd., Sterling
Saturday, May 24, 10am-3pm.

This historic farmhouse, build in the 1790s, features displays on the Wachusett Watershed, local wildlife, and the farm's history. The area features a one-acre meadow and a one-mile forest hiking trail along the rocky hillside. Stop in to help survey habitats and identify plants and animals to contribute to a snapshot of the biodiversity in the area. Your participation will help us provide future educations opportunities. Focus areas with field staff are scheduled throughout the day. Everyone is welcome to participate. This program is offered in partnership with Freedom's Way National Heritage Area during the Hidden Treasures Festival of Nature, Culture, and History. Learn more at freedomsway.org.
