Join us for a week of movie making! Make a movie that will surprise all your friends and family! During the week of July 27-31, youth ages 7-13 are welcome to join us for these very fun classes. (See demonstrations at www.Incrediflix.com).
The children will work on making their own movies with the help and supervision of an instructor. They will be separated in to groups within the program to pair with kids their own ages.

Morning Session - Unleash your film-making talents! No acting experience? No problem. Learn the Hollywood secrets to create, direct, film, act, and more. Working in a movie crew we’ll bring your ideas to life. By the end you won’t just have an amazing film, you’ll have the skills to craft your own epic movies with friends. *$35 Production fee included in the price of program. Flix emailed within a month of the program end. Bring a tree-nut, peanut free snack and refillable water bottle. Wear weather appropriate clothing, this class may take place both indoors and outdoors.
Afternoon Session: Lego Flix - Bring LEGO worlds to life! We provide LEGOS, you provide your imagination! Work in groups to create a LEGO set with LEGO characters for a stop-motion movie you'll storyboard, shoot, and add voice-overs! *$35 Production fee included in the price of program. Flix emailed within a month of the program end. Bring a tree-nut, peanut free snack and refillable water bottle. Wear weather appropriate clothing, this class may take place both indoors and outdoors.
Full Day Session: Join us for the full day and attend both sessions! Bring tree-nut, peanut free snacks, a refillable water bottle, lunch, and drink of choice. *$70 Production fee included in the price of program.
Full Day students will be supervised during a lunch period, but there will be no formal activity during this time.
Students are expected to adhere to a general code of conduct described in the Boylston Parks & Recreation General Activity Form. The contracted instructors expect that participants will respect themselves, other students, the instructors, and property. Failure to do so will result in them enacting their three strikes rule - 1. warning, 2. call to parents, 3. removal from the program without refund.
The staff to student ratio for this program is 1:10. The minimum number of participants for any class is 6, and the maximum is 20.
Please help us keep your child safe during the program by letting us know if your child has any medical conditions or special circumstances the staff should be aware of.
While very rare, occasionally technical difficulties do sometimes occur. If student movies are irrecoverable, the Contractor will return the Production Fee directly to the parents of the students affected. The $35 production fee is included in each 1/2 day registration. Registrants agree there will be no other action for lost movies.
As will all programming, Boylston Parks & Recreation reserves the right to cancel any program for any reason, but generally lack of registrations to meet minimum participant requirements will cause cancellation. If Boylston Parks & Recreation cancels programming, we will initiate refunds.
Classes will take place in the Boylston Parks & Recreation Office located at 221 Main Street in Boylston in the basement of the Boylston Town Hall. Enter through the last entrance that has signs for both Parks & Recreation and the Boylston Food Pantry.
