Bring the kids and join us at Pine Ridge Farm to make a flower pocketbook!
A message to dads, grandpas, significant others, etc....this would be a wonderful present for mom for Mother's Day - bring the kids and give mom some time alone while you're at the farm, and then give her a beautiful gift from the kids made with love for Mother's Day! If you're bringing kids, please register yourself and then provide the names and ages of the children you are bringing when prompted during the registration process.
What: Hands-on activity making a pocketbook filled with live plants (picture below for an idea, but not exact replica). The pocketbooks will be 8.5"x3"x5".
Where: Pine Ridge Farm - 1158 Main Street, Boylston, MA 01505
When: May 3rd at 4:00pm (the farm will close at 4pm and we will be the only group there)
Who: All ages, but this is a great opportunity for Dad and the kids to make something special for mom (and give her some time alone!).
Wear play clothes/old clothes that you don't mind getting dirty! The cost of the workshop includes all supplies and step-by-step instruction by Gigi, owner of Pine Ridge Farm. An adult must accompany all children and depending on age, be prepared to help.
A minimum number of 10 registrations (pairs/singles) are required to run this workshop. Spots are limited, so don't wait to register!
As always, the Parks & Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel any program for any reason, including low enrollment. Registration fees, minus bank fees, will be returned if a program is cancelled by Boylston Parks and Recreation. We will initiate the regunds, you do not need to do anything. Refunds can take a few weeks to process and will be in the form of a check, regardless of the original form of payment.
