We will arrive in NYC at approximately 10:00am depending on traffic, and will be dropped off at either Bryant Park or Macy's (TBD - they are just a few blocks from each other - so not far to walk).

We will depart from a location designated by the driver the day of the trip (most likely the same as the drop off location) at 6pm promptly to head back to Boylston. Please arrive for the bus at 5:45pm for the 6pm departure time. If you do not show up for the bus, we will make an effort to reach you by phone. If we cannot make contact with you and you do not arrive by the 6pm departure time, we will be leave and you will be on your own to get back to Boylston, MA. We should arrive back in Boylston around 10:00pm depending on traffic and actual departure time.

Enjoy the time between arrival and departure in NYC. You will be on your own for all activities and food - plan to visit a landmark restaurant for lunch, take in a world-class museum, get some holiday shopping in, sight-see, or maybe even take in a show. The possibilities are endless in NYC!

What do you need to know?

This trip is RAIN OR SHINE. Even if it snows, we are going! So please plan accordingly by dressing appropriately for the weather. The only weather that will cause a cancellation must be SEVERE enough for the bus company to pull their buses from the roads. If that happens, the bus company will work with us to reschedule to another date.

On 11/11/26 we will evaluate to ensure we have received enough payments to cover the cost of the bus. Please pay upon registration. If you register but did not pay, you will not be included in the calculation that will determine if we can fund the trip. If we do not have enough payments to cover the bus by 11/11/26, the trip will be cancelled. We will initiate refunds if this happens.

*Because we rely on your payment to fund the trip, payments are non-refundable except in the case that Boylston Parks and Recreation must cancel the trip for lack of participation on 11/11/26.
We will automatically initiate refunds or account credits based on your preference if we cancel the trip for lack of participation.

At times, we have wait-lists for our activities. If you determine you cannot make it, let us know. We may have a wait-list and can fill your seat!

All minors (under the age of 18) must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

All participants must agree to the Town of Boylston's Release from Liability and Indemnity agreement and must provide a valid phone number to be reached at during the trip - along with an emergency contact.

We invite participants to share pertinent general medical information to the extent they feel comfortable, so we have it in case of an emergency (ie. have epilepsy).

The price of the trip includes the bus ride, but does not include gratuity for the driver. It's customary for particpants to plan a small gratuity of a few bucks each for the driver. In this intstance, we will have two drivers - on on the way to NYC, and one on the way home from NYC. Tips are generally given when disembarking the bus.

Code of Conduct: All participants are expected to act appropriately, with respect for themselves, the bus driver, and fellow participants. It is imperative that each participant do their part to maintain a safe and controlled environment for the safety of all participants.
